Cummins Community Involvement Programs.
Giving Back to Our Communities.
At Cummins Eastern Canada, we improve people’s lives an by unleashing the power of Cummins through the use of our skills, talents, our sense of teamwork and leadership. Events and activities across the distribution take place regularly, giving back to those in need in the communities in which we live in. Our Every Employee Every Community (EEEC) program allows every employee the opportunity to contribute at least four hours of company time to bettering their community.
We tackle some of the largest problems facing society today including but not limited to, malnourishment, poverty of education, the underprivileged, disadvantaged, the isolated, and the environment.
We are equally committed to conducting Community Impact Six Sigma (CISS) projects, which help to solve community problems through Six Sigma skills and training. CISS projects use data to drive sustainable improvement through the use of business tools and skills.
We are part of the Cummins global system of more than 200 Community Involvement Teams (CIT) around the world.
